Flucotop 150 – Fluconazole 150mg tablet, is an antifungal medication used to treat infections caused by fungi and yeast. It works by inhibiting fungal cell membrane formation, which stops the growth of fungi.

Flucotop 150 – Fluconazole 150mg tablet is commonly used in the treatment of following indications,

• Vaginal yeast infections (candidiasis)
• Oral thrush (mouth infection)
• Esophageal candidiasis
• Systemic fungal infections
• Prevention of fungal infections in immunocompromised patients

Serious Side Effects :

• Severe allergic reactions (rash, itching, swelling of face/lips)
• Liver problems (yellowing of skin/eyes, dark urine)

• Irregular heartbeat (QT prolongation)
• Seizures (rare)

Dosage:

The recommended dosage of Flucotop 150 – Fluconazole 150mg tablet is,  

• Vaginal candidiasis: Usually 150 mg as a single dose
• Other fungal infections: Dose may vary (50 mg to 400 mg once daily) depending on severity
• Can be taken with or without food
