Imatiheal 400 – Imatinib 400mg Tablet Description:
Imatiheal 400 – Imatinib 400mg Tablet is a targeted anticancer medicine belonging to the class of Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors (TKIs). It works by blocking specific abnormal proteins (tyrosine kinases) that promote the growth and multiplication of cancer cells. By inhibiting these proteins, Imatinib slows or stops cancer cell growth while minimizing damage to normal cells.

Imatiheal 400 – Imatinib 400mg Tablet is primarily used for:
- Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) in adults and children
- Philadelphia chromosome-positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (Ph+ ALL)
- Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors (GIST) that are unresectable, metastatic, or after surgery (adjuvant therapy)
- Myelodysplastic/Myeloproliferative Diseases (MDS/MPD) associated with PDGFR gene rearrangements
- Hypereosinophilic Syndrome (HES) and Chronic Eosinophilic Leukemia (CEL)
- Dermatofibrosarcoma Protuberans (DFSP) that is unresectable, recurrent, or metastatic

Dosage:
The dosage should always be determined by an oncologist based on the disease being treated.
Typical Adult Dosages:

Administration
- Take once daily with a meal and a full glass of water.
- Swallow the tablet whole; do not crush or chew unless advised by your doctor.
- Take the medicine at the same time each day.
- If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered unless it is close to the next scheduled dose. Do not take a double dose.
Important: Imatinib is a prescription-only anticancer medication. Treatment should be initiated and monitored by a qualified oncologist. Regular blood tests and liver function monitoring are recommended during therapy.
