Geftifine 250 – Geftinib 250mg Tablet Description:

Geftifine 250 – Gefitinib 250 mg Tablet is an oral anti-cancer medicine that belongs to the class of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitors. It works by blocking EGFR signals that promote cancer cell growth, thereby slowing or stopping the spread of cancer.

Geftifine 250 – Geftinib 250mg Tablet is primarily used for:

• Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC)
  • Especially in patients with EGFR mutation-positive tumors
• Sometimes used in advanced or metastatic lung cancer as advised by an oncologist

Side Effects:

• Skin rash / acne-like eruptions
• Dry skin
• Nausea
• Loss of appetite

Serious Side Effects :

• Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) (breathing difficulty, cough, fever)

• Liver toxicity (elevated liver enzymes, jaundice)
• Eye disorders (irritation, redness)
• Severe diarrhea leading to dehydration

Dosage:
