Pantoalert DSR Capsule Description:

Pantoalert DSR capsule is a combination medicine containing Pantoprazole (a proton pump inhibitor) and Domperidone (a prokinetic/anti-nausea agent). It reduces stomach acid and improves gastric motility, helping relieve acid reflux and related symptoms.

 Pantoalert DSR capsules Uses:

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
• Acid reflux and heartburn
• Indigestion (dyspepsia)
• Nausea and vomiting associated with acidity
• Bloating and fullness due to delayed gastric emptying

Side Effects:

• Headache
• Dry mouth
• Diarrhea
• Abdominal pain
• Flatulence (gas)
• Dizziness

Serious Side Effects :

• Severe allergic reactions (rash, swelling, difficulty breathing)
• Irregular heartbeat (due to domperidone)
• Low magnesium levels (long-term use)
• Liver problems (yellowing of skin/eyes)
• Severe diarrhea or persistent stomach pain
• Hormonal effects (e.g., breast tenderness, galactorrhea due to domperidone)

Dosage:

The recommended dosage of Pantoalert DSR capsules is,  

• Usually 1 tablet once daily
• Take before food (30 minutes before breakfast)
