Rabealert DSR Capsule Description:

Rabealert DSR is a combination capsule containing Rabeprazole (a proton pump inhibitor) and Domperidone (a prokinetic/anti-nausea agent). It works by reducing excess stomach acid and improving the movement of food through the stomach, providing relief from acid-related discomfort and nausea.

Rabealert DSR capsules Uses:

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
• Acid reflux and heartburn
• Indigestion (dyspepsia)
• Nausea and vomiting associated with acidity
• Bloating and fullness due to delayed gastric emptying

 Side Effects:

Common Side Effects:

• Headache
• Dry mouth
• Dizziness
• Abdominal pain
• Diarrhea or constipation
• Flatulence (gas)

Serious Side Effects :

• Severe allergic reactions (rash, swelling of face/lips, difficulty breathing)
• Irregular heartbeat (QT prolongation due to domperidone)
• Liver problems (yellowing of skin/eyes, dark urine)
• Low magnesium levels (especially with long-term use)
• Hormonal effects (increased prolactin: breast tenderness, galactorrhea)
• Severe or persistent diarrhea

Dosage:

The recommended dosage of Rabealert DSR capsules is,  

• Usually 1 capsule once daily
• Take 30 minutes before food (preferably before breakfast)
• Duration depends on the doctor’s prescription
